DI Prophypaste is for the removal or surface stains, pellicle and calculus on teeth, which is not removed through normal patient brushing and oral hygiene. It is specifically formulated for mild abrasion (polishing) and cleaning of tooth structures. DI Prophypaste is available with fluoride. The fluoride product has the added benefit of acting as a paediatric prophypaste which provides a supplementary treatment of topical fluoride to tooth surfaces. This assists in the prevention of caries and sensitivity on newly exposed surfaces.
